Chomp chomp, Monday.

My new favorite thing to do to get myself out of a bad mood: watch the “You Make My Dreams Come True” segment from (500) Days of Summer. Just two minutes of Hall, Oats, and JG-L can turn any frown upside down.
By this action, Vilma seeks to recover damages for defamatory statements made by Roger Goodell, Commissioner of the National Football League (“NFL”). Vilma is a professional football player for the New Orleans Saints (“Saints”), a Member Club of the NFL. Goodell, speaking publicly about certain Saints executives, coaches and players, in relation to purported efforts designed to injure opposing players, made public statements concerning Vilma which were false, defamatory and injurious to Vilma’s professional and personal reputation.
C’mon. Isn’t this the best offseason ever? We just sued the commissioner. I’m highly entertained and you should be too.
The full lawsuit (if you’re interested).

I’ve been a neglectful Tumblr-er lately with work ramping up to warped speed. However, instead of bitching (too much), I want to take the time to appreciate the little things.
Today for example, brings an embarrassingly messy desk and a long to-do list with only one thing marked “done,” as of 11:30 a.m. However, this one little email from Kate Spade has brightened up my day significantly.
Happy Wednesday!
When I saw this on Sunday night, I prayed someone would make my day week by making this a Rosie gif. Prayers answered.

Curing the Sunday blues with a pedi, some DVR, and some classic shells ‘n cheese. Works every time.
Reading and relaxing on my porch with a good book, despite the rain. No complaints.
I haven’t posted in a while, because I have been so stressed and frazzled and uptight and every other possible horrible thing one can be. I’m a worrier by nature, which has its positives and negatives. But lately, I’ve been letting the worrying consume me, y’all. Not good. I feel like I need to take up meditation or yoga or some other chill-out activity. Because going through life with what I’ve been affectionately referring to as “my stress baby” growing in my stomach is not what I want. Any advice for de-stressing?
And I hope that this is the last woe-is-me post on here, at least for a while. There are much bigger things to be worrying about in this world, but every once in a while we’re allowed to have these moments, right? Right.
Andy Cohen was always a stud.
I don’t have much to say tonight. But this pic will do juuuuuust fine as my contribution to the internet today.
I canNOT get enough of Cousin Rosie on RHONJ. Andy Cohen, give this woman her own show!
Summer is here.
Even though the insect life here in New Orleans (mosquitoes, roaches, and termites oh my!) and the sweltering temps + humidity have brought out the welcome banner for summer, it’s lazy Sundays like today with porch-sitting, pool time, and ice cold beers (for hydration duh) that really mark the beginning of summer for me.
Happy Sunday Funday, y’all!
